I think its a telling distinction between the two - blogs, for my money, are vehicles for broadcasting. It may be the broadcasting from a single person - soapboxing - IOW. In contrast, wiki software is only good (really) for groups of people. I think that's why our company is loooking at Socialtext softwasre - it incorporates some of the features of both (I think).
--I just realized - this comment could have gone in the 'comments' box at the bottom of the page .. ooops .
